Baselworld 2015: Introducing the New Tudor North Flag with In-House Movement. Live Pictures and Pricing.

Today, Tudor presented the latest addition to its lineup. We are talking about the new Tudor North Flag ref. 91210N available with integrated stainless steel bracelet or with a rugged texturized black leather strap with yellow contrast stitching. Inspired by iconic replica watches from the 1970s like the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, the IWC Ingenieur, the Tudor Ranger or even the Rolex Oysterquartz, this new Tudor replica watch measures 41 mm in diameter and is equipped with a satin brushed monobloc case with double bezel in stainless steel and black ceramic. Its black matte dial with white applied markers and a flange with yellow and white minute track are simply stunning. However, what really makes this replica watch special —besides its looks— is the fact that this is the first Tudor replica watch to be powered by a fully developed in-house calibre.

With its highly contrasting yellow seconds hand and its power reserve indicator with yellow accents, the black matte dial of this Tudor is clean and well balanced. Perhaps its biggest downside, its the strong similarity to the dial on the IWC Ingenieur with Arabic numerals at 12 and 6 o’clock. Regardless, this new Tudor is a winner in our book.

Now, let’s go back to the movement. Yes, you heard it well, its beating heart is the manufacture calibre MT-5621 that happens to be not only a Chronometer Officially Certified automatic movement, but also a movement that provides an impressive power reserve of 70 hours when fully wound. As if this wasn’t good enough, the movement features a non-magnetic silicon balance spring, a power reserve indicator via disc on the dial, instantaneous date with rapid setting and stop-seconds for precise time setting. This new movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph and includes 28 jewels.

This new Tudor North Flag features a screw down crown that is conical shaped and which is very easy to unscrew and screw back on. The replica watch features sharp angles with a flat top case construction and a very seventies look.

The Tudor North Flag is equipped with a display case back that allows for full view of the movement, a premiere for the brand as no other replica watch in their long standing history ever featured a sapphire crystal case back. While the movement is simply decorated and nothing out of this world, it is nice to see that in-house calibre is the beating heart of a Tudor replica watch.

On the wrist, the replica watch wears very comfortably and perhaps one or two millimeters larger than its actual size. While the model on leather strap features the now traditional shield shaped folding clasp, the integrated bracelet features a deployant clasp with flip-lock. While we love the look of the replica watch on bracelet, we feel that the black strap brings the essence of this replica watch even more. The bracelet is very well constructed and very solid featuring a satin brushed finish with highly polished edges on the center links.

Big kudos to Tudor on this new release and especially on the development of their very own in-house movement. This is a perfect example of a brand that wants to continue to go the extra mile to keep giving its customers the best replica watch possible at an extremely reasonable price. With Tudor, you get a lot of replica watch for the money.
