The new HYT H1 Ghost is fitted with a black DLC titanium case measuring 48.8 mm in diameter and a thickness of 17.9 mm just exactly like all other H1 pieces, but this time, featuring a strikingly beautiful new dial and fluid where day and night intertwine just as the shadow and light constantly contrast. The new HYT H1 Ghost ref. 148-DL-60-NF-RU has been designed around a new black fluid that does not emit or reflect any light. However, the H1 Ghost can be read in the dark; HYT developed a unique use of superluminova to illuminate the capillary from underneath along its entire translucent stretch, beyond the black fluid. This new black fluid produced in-house by Preciflex —HYT’s sister company which is responsible for developing fluids for HYT. But this fluid is unlike any other; it is completely opaque. A first for HYT.
The replica watch features a black screw-down rubber clad screw-lock crown, a titanium rider at 6 o’clock and an unstructured black hour dial with white numerals. The dial just like on the previous iteration of HYT H1s, features running seconds indicator at 9 and 65-hour power reserve indicator between 2 and 3 o’clock. This time the minute indicators appear on a smoked sapphire crystal subdial at 12 o’clock with white numerals. The red accents on the running seconds hand and the power reserve indicator hand complete the equation and provide the perfect amount of contrast. The chapter ring for the hours is filled with ultra bright superluminova giving life to the latest iteration in the HYT family.
The black DLC titanium case presents alternating brushed, micro-blasted and satin-finished finishes, but their intense black only serves to better reflect the light. The replica watch is fitted with a black rubber strap with black DLC titanium pin buckle.
The beating heart powering the new HYT H1 Ghost is the exclusive manual-wound HYT calibre 101 that provides a power reserve of 65 hours when fully wound and which is fully visible via the display case back. The bridges on the movement are hand-bevelled and adorned with ‘Côtes de Genève’, the bellows are rhodium-plated and the bridges and main plates are treated with anthracite grey NAC. The sapphire crystal on the case back is slightly smoked to round out the all black appearance of this new replica watch. The HYT H1 Ghost is water resistant to a 100 meters.
