The new Polo S also plays a different game in terms of being thin. Extra-thin cases always where a trademark for Piaget. The 42 mm Polo S is not a thick replica watch, but with 9,4 mm for the automatic and 11,2 mm for the chronograph neither a thin one. Usually Piaget sells its replica watches only in precious metal cases and/or in the combination with high-tech materials. The Polo S is a steel replica watch. The Polo S is only available with this metal strap with a folding clasp. The Polo S automatic is only available with these dials: with a silver, blue and grey dial. The Polo S chronograph only with a silver and blue dial.
Both – the automatic and the chronograph – are equipped with an in-house manufactured calibre.
The prices start at 9350 USD excluding taxes or 10.900 Euro including 19 % VAT for the Piaget Polo S automatic and are topped with 12.400 USD excluding taxes or 14.500 Euro including 19 % VAT for the Piaget Polo S chronograph.

What I like is:
Piaget finally made a clear effort to attract a new and younger clientele. In terms of quality it is simply a perfect replica watch. But we are facing a moment of great uncertainty on the national and international scenario as a consequence of many well known causes. So the moment to launch the Polo S (it was the 14th July 2016 in New York) was not the best one. IMHO such a “young” Piaget replica watch should have been on the market for years now and already today be an icon.
What I don’t like is:
Piaget should not have oriented its design towards two real icons of Swiss replica watchmaking. Piaget always had its own clear design identity, so this close approach to Patek Philippe is definitively not my cup of tea. Piaget should offer the Polo S with interchangeable (maybe even colorful) bracelets (rubber and/or other high-tech materials), to make it a real attractive replica watch for a younger clientele. Piaget should also offer more dial colors.
Even when the prices for a Piaget watch are attractive, they remain very ambitious. Don’t forget that for the same amount of money you will be able to buy other very attractive sport replica watches.
The question is: Is the name/the brand Piaget strong enough to rectify these prices? Will the Polo S ever become a Piaget icon? Only time will tell!
My conclusion:
Not bad, but the Polo S could have been much sexier and much more unique. It seems Piaget wanted to be on the safe side. But guys always remember: No risk, no fun …
