Watch Review
Intro
Rotary, established in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland back in 1895 by Moise Dreyfuss. It has been creating stunning affordable timepieces. Today we’re taking a look at one of their very affordable automatic replica watches that features a skeleton dial.
Its model has a very open skeleton design, also its dial features rose gold hour markers along with a rose gold hour, minute, and seconds hands. There’s a lack of any lume which might be a concern to some people. The casing itself is made of stainless steel that’s PVD rose gold plated.
Type Of Crystal
Protecting the front dial and rear casing we have a mineral crystal class, which specially hardened to make it more resistant to scratches and knocks. Mineral glass if often found in watches in this price range so it was exactly what I expected to find here.
Watch Size
Taking a look at the size of the replica watch now, we find everything is fairly typical for a men’s watch. The casing diameter is 40mm whilst the thickness is 12mm. This is quite a common size these days and it suitable for many wrist sizes.
Strap
The strap is made of a dark tan soft genuine leather and has a width of 20mm. There’s some nice white detailing with the stitching that adds another nice aspect to the design of the watch. The strap fastens with a typical buckle style clasp that you can see in the image further below.
Extra features
A key feature for these skeleton watches from Rotary is their exhibition casebacks. These allow you to take a look at the inner workings of the watch through the rear casing.
Water Resistance Rating
The water resistance level isn’t a primary feature of this watch but it does still come with a 50m rating. A rating of 50m / 5 Bar / 150ft makes this watch suitable for swimming, white water rafting, non-snorkeling water related work, and fishing.

Watch Disadvantages
- If unworn for a length of time an automatic watch will run out of power, requiring the wearer to give it an initial wind and reset the time. This is common in automatic watches but still something some people find annoying.
- Lack of any lume features
