One of the biggest releases this year at Baselworld 2017 and one that was quite polarizing is the new Omega Trilogy 60th Anniversary 1957 limited editions. This set of three vintage inspired replica watches with ‘faux-patina’ pays tribute to the three most iconic and legendary replica watches from Omega, all originally released in 1957. Each box features a front plate individually engraved with the limited edition number for all 557 sets and contains a red vintage-inspired leather case where all three replica watches are stored, plus an oversized travel roll with three compartments for the replica watches, a strap changing tool, additional spare spring bars, three leather straps and three NATO straps. The oiled leather travel roll is rugged looking but nicely finished. Using a unique digital scanning technology, used by Omega for the very first time, allowed the brand to get the most accurate measurements of the cases and bracelets on the original 1957 historical replica watches.
